...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 am EST Wednesday... The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and freezing rain...which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 am EST Wednesday.

Hazard types...snow...possibly mixing with or changing to freezing rain after midnight.

Accumulations...snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches...along with a few hundredths of an inch of ice.

Timing...snow ill start shortly after sunset and continue until the pre-dawn hours. It may end as a period of light freezing rain...or just rain along the immediate coast.

Impacts...roads will become snow covered and slippery.

Winds...southwest 5 to 10 mph.

Temperatures...in the upper 20s to low 30s. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
